"In the fight against cancer, no one rides alone!"

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page for the 2011 le Tour de Femme. The event is on Saturday, October 8, 2011.  This year I am riding the full-metric (62.4 miles) and hope to raise $1000 for this charity. Together, we can do this, but I need your support!! 

I am riding again this year in special honor of my Uncle Roger Cress who is battling cancer. I love you! Keep fighting the fight!  Also, in honor of colleague Phil Greer, who is battling cancer. 

I will also be riding in honor/memory of several relatives who had cancer.  In memory of my uncles John Robert Cress, Glenn Cress and Morris G. "Bud" Yule II and in honor of my cousin Mary Ellen Ward and my sister-in-law Diannah Georges Pennington.  I will carry their names with me as I ride.

Money raised from this event goes to the Angel Fund of Rex Health Care and the Lance Armstrong Foundation for cancer research and cancer survivorship programs. 100% of the funds raised goes to these two charities.
