There are over 100 types of cancer, each is classified by the type of cell the cancer attacks. Once that cell is affected, so are those closest to the person. A diagnosis is both physically and emotionally overwhelming chemotherapy, radiation, and surgeries leave patient's bodies depleted and minds stressed. I believe that there is a time and a season for every individual on this Earth, so I ride for a cure in the hope that everyone can live a healthy life and realize their own individual purposes. I am riding along side my cousin Shelly in memory of our Grandmother Julia Taylor, who we never got to meet. I ride for a man who was like a father to me, Smutt Taylor and also ride for my father-in-law Bruce Massey, who never could meet his grandchildren or great-grandson. I also ride in celebration for surviors like my sister-in-law Sherry Wade who recently overcame bladder cancer.
